Deimco also builds all of their own UL-labeled panels and writes all of their own programming, which is extremely uncommon in our industry. This enables us to pre-assemble, test, and optimize every piece of equipment built on our own floor prior to shipment.

"DEIMCO Engineers Adhesive Machine for Laminate Flooring"

In the nineties, laminate flooring was introduced to the North American market. These products quickly gained broad acceptance and a large-do-it-yourself market was created. These laminate floors used a tongue and groove interlock method with adhesive. The installer would manually apply the glue during the field installation. The glue bond was critical to the floors performance. If done properly, the glue bond created a single "floating floor" unit that was impervious to household spills and a strong floor that could withstand direct placement of heavy objects such as refrigerators and bookcases.

Frequently, the glue was improperly installed. Inconsistent installation of the glue caused gaps between the planks. This detracted from the floors appearance and strength, and clean-up became a problem.

Deimco engineered the solution. Deimco's laminate floor adhesive machine uniformly and precisely sprays glue onto the top and bottom of the tongue, and into the groove of the laminate planks, without spraying onto the laminate wear surface. The dry in place adhesive is now pressure activated as planks are field installed.
