Chain on Edge

Deimco's Chain on Edge Cell is a versatile system used to finish a wide range of products. Shingles, couplings, glass jars, helmets, and gun stocks are just a few of the products that can be easily finished with a chain on edge. These nimble systems can keep pace with even the highest production rates. With the ability to coat the product interior or exterior, and up to 360° coatings coverage, these systems are easily customized for any product.

Deimco's chain on edge finishing systems are used to coat and cure a myriad of products. A chain conveyor carries products through a part identification or detection system and into the spray booth where individual outputs trigger the powder guns sequentially and all applicable areas of the products are coated. Overspray is collected in a reclaim capable filter module and a fan recycles the collector air after passing through up to three sets of dry filter media. No stack is required for Deimco's proprietary whisper quiet powder coating booths.

Each system is sized and designed according to the customer's products and production needs. The chain on edge finishing system is available for integration with gas and electric powder curing ovens, in IR and convection configurations. As needed, custom part fixtures, automated gun movers, and digitized air knives/dedust stations can be included to achieve the customer's desired look and feel.
