Deimco Expands Crew
Tama, Iowa – October 22, 2021
Deimco Finishing Equipment, a designer and builder of custom finishing and material handling systems, announces the hiring of John Boland and Josh Edel. The positions were created to support the continued growth of Deimco Finishing Equipment. Tom Arneson, Vice President and General Manager of Deimco stated, “We are excited to welcome both John and Josh into the Deimco family. They will be a great addition to our team and resource for our customers for years to come.”
John Boland obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from the University of Northwestern in St. Paul in May of 2021. During his time at university, John competed athletically for the Eagle’s Men’s Soccer team. John previously worked for Deimco as an intern over multiple summers. As Controls Technician, John will be responsible for the operation and troubleshooting of numerous robotic, electrical, and pneumatic control systems.
Josh Edel joins Deimco after graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Business Administration in May of 2020. During his time at Coe College, Josh was honored as an All American for the Kohawk’s Men’s Wrestling team. Josh has previously possessed roles in inventory and maintenance for Schimberg Company, Whole Excavation and Ricken Tiling. As Technician, Josh will work collaboratively to fabricate and implement mechanical, electrical and pneumatic assemblies; in addition to accounting duties.
