February 13, 2024 - Kyrsten and Jacob Shirar have officially purchased Deimco Finishing Equipment from Kirk and Cindy Shirar. The new leadership is focused on blending the company’s deeply rooted family values with advanced manufacturing technologies for the future.
Founders Kirk and Cindy Shirar will remain actively involved in the company, transitioning to roles on the board of directors. In this capacity, they will continue to provide consulting, strategic direction, and guidance on key growth initiatives, ensuring a seamless transition and continuity for Deimco's longtime clients.
Jacob and Kyrsten Shirar bring a robust combination of engineering expertise and modern operational leadership to the company:
Jacob Shirar holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Iowa State University. He previously served as a Sales Engineer at Deimco until late 2021, when he founded Rocky Mountain Finishes in Craig, Colorado.
Kyrsten Shirar graduated from Purdue University and brings extensive leadership experience to Deimco, having previously served as the Director of Operations for a high-growth tech startup.
